for my momma - happy mummy/mak day - 10 May 2009

mother's day - dedicated to my momma (mummy/mak) - whatever way or languagge you may call - mother is always a mother in their own ways. the best mom in the world!? everybody seems to think and say that. it is uncomparable and priceless.
mom - you have brought us to the world with full of challenges and sins but that wasnt your choice. however, you have educated and warned us again and again and again, non stopped though we are on our own feet (which you think and foretell that it will be worst than being a child - guess you were right mom). mom always have the instinct of good and bad. mom has always been and is on our back to catch us fall. has she ever stopped praying for us? nope!! i dont think so. thank you mom for that. be it big or small babies, mom has an eagle eye for her chicks. what will we do without mom, of cos you doh doh, we will be in lost. no mom to turn to. no mom to talk to. no mom to say -"are you ok?". where's mom's voice? we will start missing her love, her voice, her appearance (no matter how irritating she can be), her advises, her laughter and most of all her prayers for all her children.
do we appreciate all that? - oops!! we may have forgotten. filial? yes and no. its hard to be filial. hei! dont lie cos we are not 100%. i can say we are only 80% if that is it. just wonder what if we dont have a mom like yours and mine and we have a mom that some ppl who dont deserved to be called mummy/mak. i am scared and shall not go further. take a moment and say alittle prayer for your mom - she need it and its the best give ever - priceless!!!
to all mothers - happy mothers day - kids are to be loved and taken care with appreciation - its god's gift.

so this cake was baked specially for her - victoria sandwich cake - recipe was from my secondary school domestic class and i clearly remembered that my classmate (shall not mentioned name here) was slapped (ouch!!!) by the teacher, cos she took alittle extra jam. oooo....thank god i didnt get that slapped, cos i was alittle to greedy too. but of cos the version of the cake has been modified (knowing its me who baked it). its topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
simplest cake ever and she has been reminding me that i owed her this cake since (guess when?) last november, 2008. i am sorry mom and and very glad that you got to taste it or i shall regret it for the rest of my life. hehe. jangan marah ya. i lup u.
